BACKGROUND
The
definition of Karma is "to do". Karma is the means
by which a person becomes the architect of their own destiny.
Karma literally means deed, but implies the entire cycle
of cause and effect. According to the law of karma, every
human action - in thought, word, or deed - inevitably leads
to results or consequences, good or bad, depending upon
the quality of the action.” The goal of Community
Karma is for the San Francisco locality to actively participate
in their future in a positive way.
Actions
on every level, small or large, are realized in every community
every day. Volunteering at your local food shelter, donating
to your favorite charity, chaperoning a group of children
for a day trip to the beach on a summer day. All these deeds
increase the overall sense of compassion in the community.
This can make a profound difference to the individual whom
receives the support in their ability to help at a higher
level not to mention the difference the giver will see in
the area around them; their outlook and what they see can
change.
Community
Karma was started as a way to help these wonderful and needed
organizations thrive and continue in the San Francisco Bay
Area. Our intent is to complement the community programs
through fund raising and general support for the San Francisco
locality. We love the Bay Area and are proud of it. We want
to make sure as many people feel the respect and gratitude
for this awesome community starting with those in it. Our
goal is to increase the overall sense of compassion by helping
feel more connected to the community; seeing the positive
impacts of even the smallest gesture can make all the difference.

have helped and those companies who have helped us in our
newsletters, follow up notes, and on our site.
